Track B: Pushing New Boundaries
Empathy is a complex, often elusive, competency in health professions education and in medical humanities - and play is the perfect remedy.
Health Seekers is a board game co-created by students and faculty at the University of Hong Kong's Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, which immerses players in the lived experiences of vulnerable communities and challenges them to navigate constrained choices, resource trade-offs, and systemic barriers.
In this session, project lead Dr. Pauline Luk will lead participants on a facilitated gameplay experience, followed by a short sharing and debrief on the creation process, learnings and insights, and impact evaluation from this inspiring project.
